Accadia Software Technologies Limited

Accadia Software Technologies Limited was formed in 2003 by Adi Shva, Adi Eilon and Eli Smadar with the specific aim of providing management solutions for the diamond, colored gemstone and jewelry industries.

While Accadia’s initial task was to provide technical support to the more than 150 diamond manufacturers and dealers already using management software produced by sister company Aerodiam the company immediately began developing a new management package that would empower its clients to operate their companies in the wired and global economy of the 21st century. The result of the project was DiamondXecutive Pro, which is being released onto the market during 2007.

Today, with offices in Ramat Gan, Israel, and Antwerp, Belgium, Accadia and Aerodiam provide diamond management software and support to 450 of the worlds largest diamond traders and manufacturers. Together, they manage the largest customer-base in the world for diamond management software.

DiamondXecutive PRO

Released by Accadia Software Technologies Limited in 2007, DiamondXecutive Pro is the most powerful and sophisticated business management package ever created for the diamond industry. Currently operating in English, French and Hebrew, the software has the capacity to operate in five languages.

Recognizing the importance of creating a program that will work on any PC, Accadia created DiamondXecutive Pro using the tools used by Microsoft engineers in developing the Windows XP operating system and Microsoft Office software. The software was created on a .NET platform, which is Microsoft’s revolutionary Web services strategy to connect information, people, programs and computers. When they are .NET-connected, businesses are able to integrate their systems more rapidly and in a more agile manner, helping them realize the promise of information anytime, anywhere, on any device.

The basic DiamondXecutive Pro package includes the following functions:

	Dealing with accounts payable and receivable.
	Stock management.
	Document processing, including invoices and receipts,
	export documents and barcodes.

For extra functionality, the following modules can be added on:

	Full deal entry book-keeping, recognized by the income
	tax authorities.

Because the program performs in the .NET computer environment, users are able to:

	Import/export data to and from Excel sheets.

DiamondXecutive Pro was created using object-oriented software architecture, which greatly enhances the service Accadia is able to offer its users. Indeed, much of the service can be provided online, greatly improving response time.

With a business administration background, Adi Shva has been involved in the diamond management software business since 1988. Together with Adi Eilon, a co-owner of Accadia, he opened Aerodiam’s first overseas office in Antwerp in 1989.
Even after securing 75 percent of the market for stock management systems in Antwerp, he continued to monitor the changing needs of the diamond industry in Israel and Belgium in the search for the most advanced solutions. That led to the establishment of Accadia Software Technologies in 2003, and the start of development of DiamondXecutive Pro, which Shva created together with Chief Technology Officer Eli Smadar.

Eli Smadar
Co-owner and Chief Technology Officer

A software engineer, Eli Smadar has worked in the field of diamond software management since 1999, having previously owned his own software development company.
He established Accadia in 2003 with Adi Shva and Adi Eilon. As the company’s Chief Technology Officer, he is primarily He is responsible for incorporating the latest software developments into the company’s diamond business management solutions.
The release in 2007 of the DiamondXecutive Pro, whose development he has managed, represents the culmination of a four-year development project.

Adi Eilon
Co-owner, and Director of Aerodiam (Antwerp) NV

With many years of experience in selling and supporting management software programs for the diamond industry, Adi Eilon moved from Israel to Belgium in 1989 to help open the first foreign branch of Aerodiam, Accadia’s sister company. Today, he manages the Aerodiam office in Antwerp’s diamond district.
Eilon’s role is to further develop the DiamondXecutive Pro software for diamond dealers and manufacturers. He also provides consultancy services to Accadia Software Technologies, which operates under the Aerodiam brand name in Antwerp.
Eilon’s expertise is in analyzing the needs of companies throughout the diamond pipeline, and developing stock management software solutions for all sectors of the diamond industry.
